In the January 2006 Edition we asked interested members if they wished to run for office, but it appears that the membership would like the current boardmembers to complete their terms in office and then some. Therefore the three officers whose terms end 31 December 2006 are running unopposed. However, because we still need your vote in order to validate the Board, please return the attached trifold ballot no-later-than September 30th, so that the vote can be tallied at the Executive Board meeting in Zillah on the 7th of October.
World War Three: Something that politicians seem to agree upon is the threat of global war. With bombings in the USA, Spain, Russia, England, India, and most of the Muslim countries like Indonesia, Morrocco, and Saudi Arabia, I believe it’s already begun.
While attending a symposium about anti-terrorism in the USA, supported by the Boeing Company and the US Coast Guard, I met Walid Shoebat. He has written a book entitled “Why I left Jihad” and has been interviewed on national television several times, most recently on FOX News about the Israel-Hezbollah Conflict.
Born and raised to be a Palestinian Jihadist, Walid was challenged to research & compare the historical record -vs- the Bible and the Koran. He was shocked to discover, that what the Mullahs had told him about those warlike, untrustworthy Jews and that offshoot sect called Christianity, were blatantly untrue.
Walid’s 3-hr talk to the 300+ police and securitty personnel began with the origins of the Koran and the 7th Century warlike interperetation held by Hezbollah and Al-kaida. Recounting earlier vain attempts to appease or negotieate peace with the likes of Nazi’s and Jihadists, using the example of Neville Chamberlin’s agreement with Hitler. He described Hitler’s association with Grand Mullah of Palestine and their secret plans to eliminate the Jewish race. And went on to expose the Nazi (National Socialists) Criminal Code against the Jews as being identical to Sheria (the Law of Islam). Hence the descriptor of our 21st Century enemy as “Islamo-Fascists”.
Walid also tried to explain the lack of outrage within the moderate Muslim community to the deaths of innocents wordwide. Most would prefer to spend a thousand years immigrating to Christian countries and converting the world to Islam (already 25% of France and 15% of Germany). However, perhaps because the end justifies the means, most prefer not to speak out against Islamic fundamentalists, who would have it done immediately.
Islamo-Fascists rejoice in their dying for world Islam, so Walid posed this question to his fellow Americans, “Do we love peace more than we love our children?” Showing pacifism to our enemies is only a green light for continuing evil. Are we still as willing to die for freedom as our country’s founders were?
